Last Hour Legal
Last updated: October 27th, 2026
Every legal document we publish, in one place, with the date each was last updated. If you are looking for something specific: what you can and cannot do with the service is in the Acceptable Use Policy, what we do with your data is in the Privacy Policy, what we promise about uptime is in the SLA, and how a dispute is resolved is section 29 of the Terms of Service.
We revised the whole set on October 27th, 2026. The main changes, and why, are described in What changed below.

What changed on October 27th, 2026
We rewrote the whole set because parts of it no longer described the business. If you have been a customer for a while, these are the changes that affect you:
- A 30-day money-back guarantee that now exists in writing. We advertised it for a year while the Terms said fees were non-refundable. The Terms now contain the guarantee and describe exactly what it covers.
- Cancellation is genuinely any time. The Terms used to lock you into an initial term. They no longer do.
- Uptime credits are automatic. You no longer have to notice an outage, open a ticket, and ask. We calculate and apply the credit ourselves.
- The guarantee is now scoped honestly. It is called the Network and Host-Node Uptime Guarantee at 99.99%, because a 100% figure that excludes everything is not a promise worth making.
- No overage billing, ever. The Terms and the Fair Use policy used to reserve the right to invoice overages while the plan pages said there were none. We removed the right.
- The Privacy Policy covers your customer portal. The old one applied only to the marketing site, which meant the place where your data actually lives had no privacy notice. It also claimed we did not log IP addresses, which was not true. Both are fixed.
- Data residency is described accurately. Our servers are in the US; our DNS is in Germany and our CDN is global. We used to say your data stayed on US infrastructure. Now we say which layer is where.
- Arbitration is fairer and more likely to hold up. It now uses the AAA consumer rules, we pay the fees, and you can opt out within 30 days.
- Documents that were referenced but did not exist now exist: the Copyright Policy, the GDPR Notice, the Referral Terms, the Marketplace Terms, a Data Processing Addendum, and a subprocessor list.
- HIPAA is stated plainly. We do not accept PHI without a signed BAA, and we no longer imply otherwise.
- Gift boxes and payouts are clarified. Gifts are store credit, not withdrawable cash; only referral commissions earned from our own revenue can be withdrawn, and we do not pay out in cryptocurrency.
- This Legal Center exists. Previously the legal pages were reachable only from a footer link and most cross-references pointed at documents that were never published.
