Marketplace Terms

Last updated: October 27th, 2026

These terms govern apps and integrations offered through the Last Hour Hosting Marketplace. They are part of our Terms of Service.

1. What the Marketplace is

The Marketplace lists software you can install on a service you bought from us. Some apps are ours, and most are built by other people. We list them as a convenience. Listing an app is not a warranty, an endorsement, or a statement that it is suitable for your purpose.

2. Apps we do not write

For an app built by someone else:

3. Apps we write

Our own apps are licensed under the licence stated on the app's page — usually an open-source licence. They are provided as-is, without warranty, and the limitation of liability in the Terms of Service applies. Where an app is open source you can read the code, fork it, and self-support it.

4. What installing an app gives it access to

Before you install an app we show you what it can reach: whether it can read or write your database, your files, your mail, your customer data, or your billing records. Read that before you click install. If the app connects to the developer's own servers, the panel says so and names them.

You are the controller of your customers' data. If installing an app sends your customers' personal data to the developer, you need a lawful basis and, where the law requires it, a contract with that developer. Installing an app that exfiltrates your customers' data is a decision you are making, and the Acceptable Use Policy treats it as one.

5. Security review

We scan apps before listing them for known vulnerabilities and for obvious malicious behaviour, and we re-scan periodically. A scan is not a guarantee: it cannot find every flaw, and it cannot promise that a developer will not turn malicious later. If you find a problem with an app in the Marketplace, tell us at security@lasthourhosting.org.

6. Payments, refunds, and support

Apps we sell are billed through your Last Hour Hosting account and are covered by the money-back guarantee in the Terms of Service only where the app is a first purchase of a hosting subscription. Apps sold by a third-party developer are subject to that developer's pricing, refund policy, and support.

7. Removal

If we remove an app you are using, we will give you reasonable notice so you can migrate, unless the removal is urgent for a security reason. If you bought the app from us and we remove it, we will refund the unused portion of what you paid for it.

8. Developers

If you want to list an app, email support@lasthourhosting.org. You must be able to support it, you must disclose what data it collects and where it sends it, and you must not use the Marketplace to collect customer data for your own marketing. We can remove an app at any time if it breaches those terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We post the new version here and update the date above.
